To achieve an extreme drop, you need not only extra-deep suspension and wide wheel arches, but also special driveshafts for most vehicles in the Volkswagen range. This is because the original driveshaft, which is often too long, can cause joints to break or lead to significant damage to the gearbox. In extreme situations, it can also come into contact with the car's bodywork.
